DotPlayer Pro ("we") is built on a foundation of privacy. We believe your media habits are yours alone. This policy outlines our minimal data handling practices.

                TL;DR: We do not collect, track, store, or sell your data. The app operates entirely
                locally on your device.
            

2. Data Collection

We do not operate a backend server for DotPlayer Pro. We do not use Google Analytics, Firebase Crashlytics, or any other third-party tracking SDKs.

Playlists: Stored securely on your device's internal storage.
Credentials: Xtream/Stalker usernames and passwords are encrypted using Android's KeyStore.
Watch History: Saved in a local SQLite database on your device.

3. App Permissions

We request only the permissions strictly necessary for functionality:

Internet: To stream the content you provide via your playlists.
Storage (Read): Optional. Only requested if you choose to play local video files.
Wake Lock: To keep your TV screen on during playback.

4. Third-Party Connections

When you add a playlist (M3U, Xtream, or Stalker), the application connects directly from your device to that provider's server. No data passes through us. Your traffic is subject to the privacy policy of your playlist provider.
